Echindu Primary School Ndubia is located in Ndubia-Igbeagu, Ebonyi State. It is one of the dilapidated schools in South Eastern Nigeria. Based on our mission to upgrade schools in worrisome conditions across the zone, Echindu Primary School was selected as our pilot project.
This is the state of the school before we started work.

Work commenced this morning at Echindu Primary School Ndubia, Ebonyi State by breaking off the entire floor in both classroom blocks. The work done before we came were substandard and we can't layer on that.

Purchased 50 bags of cement for ₦500k, 500 pieces of 5 inches blocks for ₦200k, Labour for flooring at ₦100k, and water supply at ₦20k.

We have repaired Echindu Primary school borehole. This will provide water supply for our work. This also means that the school and the community at large now has steady water supply.

Today we completed breaking of the entire floor of all classroom blocks.

We have paid for 6 panel doors (₦420,000) and 21 panel windows (₦40,000 each) for the classroom blocks (5 classrooms).

We are fixing all the broken blocks in the old dilapidated classroom block. This particular school building was built by the missionaries. We will create an extra classroom from this building in process.

We started casting concrete floors today.
We purchased 5 white boards. 4 pieces of 4x4 at ₦35,000(each) and 1 piece of 4x5 at ₦45000. Then 3 packs of marker at ₦2000 (each). See details on this tweet.
We completed the flooring in the first school building with 5 classrooms. We then started the PVC ceiling work.
This morning we purchased extra 50 bags of cement (This should be the last cement purchase). 30 of the bags to complete the flooring of the dilapidated school building and 20 for plastering.
By the end of today being 17th January, 2025, we have completed the concrete nylon flooring of the classroom blocks and also completely fixed the broken walls.
Tomorrow, we will start plastering the building as we are concurrently roofing and installing iron windows and doors on the other school building containing 5 classrooms.
